At Shorter Settlements, we care about the people in our community and the preservation of their residential and commercial dwellings. That’s why we provide free insurance reviews, home inspections, and property inspections as a community service in the countries of Prince George’s, Anne Arundel, Charles, and Montgomery.
You’re invited to join us at any of our free insurance seminars.
Do you know what type of insurance you have? Do you know what is covered under your insurance policy? Our brief, educational insurance workshops explain property insurance coverage in an easy-to-understand format. These workshops are hosted by churches and community centers, and attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their individual property or homeowners insurance declaration page or entire policies for a personal, one-on-one 15-minute consultation.
What our public adjusters will do for you.
Our public adjusters are licensed by the state’s insurance department to interpret insurance policies and advocate for the public. We will advise and assist you as a homeowner, renter, or business owner so you can maximize your property damage insurance claim settlements. More importantly, we will help you understand your insurance policy so you can make decisions on whether or not you need more coverage or a different type of coverage.
If you’ve experienced property damage and wish to enlist our services following your policy review, we will get to work for you!
- There is no out of pocket expense for our insurance review services. We represent clients on a contingency fee basis. If you don’t get paid, we don’t get paid.
- We will assess losses and assist in protecting the property from further damage by working closely with contractors and remediation companies.
- In the case of fires or any other catastrophic loss, we will see that you and your family are safely and quickly relocated by our emergency response team.
